Taking Accountability Into Decisions

Taking Accountability Into Decisions post thumbnail image

First, let me be clear – Cam Davies is a phenomenal political strategist. Probably the second best in Western Canada. The problem is his accomplishments. And there are many.

He was able to take a Democratic process, and using unethical actions, he was a significant part of the Kamikaze Campaign against Brian Jean. It wasn’t just immoral and unethical, it brought about an RCMP investigation and charges and fines from Elections Alberta.

To knowingly participate in manipulating the Democratic process to discredit Brian Jean, to support Jason Kenny. And that is who the Republican Party chooses to set as their Leader?

In a CBC article – “The Callaway campaign would become known in Alberta as being set up to benefit now-Premier Jason Kenney’s bid for leadership of the newly united party. It did so by attacking Kenney’s chief political rival, former Wildrose leader Brian Jean. Callaway would go on to sacrifice his own leadership aspirations by dropping out of the race, Kamikaze-style, after attempting to inflict damage on Jean’s support.

Davies was Callaway’s co-campaign manager and ran communications. He told investigators he’d convinced a number of people to go along with putting their names on donations they didn’t make — and received two $7,500 fines in February 2019 for obstructing the investigation into the campaign by Alberta’s election commissioner. Davies was also fined $12,000 for facilitating irregular donations for the Callaway campaign. “

So he has no problem falsifying documents, no problem asking people to lie for him. And that is who Alberta needs to either lead a Party or set Alberta needs and priorities? He has a long history of using people and situations until he can take control for his own benefit. Just look at the history of the Buffalo Party. Oh the stories that could come from that alone. Praying on the innocent who only wanted a better Alberta and taking huge advantage of their time, money, and reputation. All to benefit himself.

And what about his effort pre-UCP AGM? Now there’s a story as well.

And look at all those interesting people and groups that are supporting him now. Deceit and questions of corruption, and a significant amount of misdirection just to distract Albertans from facts and truth. Naivety can be cute but not when Alberta’s future is at stake. One group’s President lied to his members and Executive to control a narrative. Another has had countless Parties and Organizations that he has left because of internal financial disputes. If you aren’t looking for morals to be part of your future, keep supporting. But if electing these types of characters as an organization to improve Alberta’s future is in your thoughts, maybe you deserve exactly what you get. But the rest of us deserve better.

And here’s the punch line for everyone. Go to their website. Please find an answer or solution to any of these –

Instead they cry, Alberta Independence – which is fine and dandy, but who’s going to lead and manage after the fact? If they can’t solve one of these little problems above, what makes them good enough to take the next step? And these guys are going to negotiate with Carney? And be successful for Alberta? Not hardly. For themselves maybe. That’s his history.

Take a read. Regardless of how smart or effective this guy is, this is about character. Read from the links below and decide if you think he or others like him belong in charge of anything.
